biosyn Arzneimittel GmbH is launching two new dietary supplements in Germany – myflora comfort and myfemella. Both products contain sporebiotics and botanicals.
Most classic bacterial cultures, such as lactobacilli or bifidobacteria, do not survive the acidic environment of the stomach. To make them more resistant, they are often chemically coated. Nevertheless, these bacterial cultures are often sensitive to stomach acid. Moisture and heat also affect them, which is why their shelf life is limited. When they are ingested, therefore, often only a small portion is still viable.
Natural protective shield
Sporebiotics, on the other hand, contain viable Bacillus microorganisms in the form of spores. This type of encapsulation is used by some strains of bacteria in nature to survive under adverse environmental conditions – for example, under high temperatures, in the absence of water, or even in strong acids. In Sporebiotics, this natural protective shell ensures high stability against gastric acid and a long shelf life.
myfemella and myflora comfort contain two different, complementary sporebiotics – Bacillus subtilis natto and Bacillus coagulans – in combination with valuable botanicals.
